The year draws to a close and the days get shorter.
We should get into the mood of Christmas - BUT...
BUT instead strikes have disrupted everything from train services to postal deliveries and hospital care.
A "short" list who is striking (in no particular order): Royal Mail, Rail, Bus, Highway workers, Nurses, Ambulance, Airport, Border Force, Driving examiners...
But here in Yorkshire - God's own country - the magic of the countryside helps to forget the world around!
Most of the snow have melted now...
