At the beginning of the eighth week a new phase of life begins for our pups – socialisation phase. Nature arranged matters so that the start of the 8th week the “changing of the boss” takes place in the dog family.
With play fighting the pups have learnt not only to defend themselves but also that there is a danger of getting hurt.
Until now the puppies have been educated by their mother...
...by their mother and aunts...
...or even grandmother Tara.
But it is not anymore up to Zoe to condition the pup for life...
...nor to the littermates.
In the 8th week they start to have their own ideas: the kitchen is too small - let's climb over and explore the world...!
1st solution: We put the king of escapes in a seperate kennel! But the seperation is too complicated...
Therefore the 2nd solution: higher kennel - but smaller kitchen...!
Another "education" this week: Being inspected by the vet...
...being chipped and vaccinated. By the way: All six behaved excellent!
Retrieving in the 8th week?
Why not!
Even if we have seen / photographed / filmed everything...
...we don't reveal who did the best retrieve!!!
Photo session: it's a MUST for all, just hurry up...!
