25th October 2019 Late summer – the beginning of the season Emblehope (Northumberland) - the beautiful moorland estate of the Kennel Club. The Gundog training estate offers phantastic ground... ...including stretching moorland for challenging retrieves. Fake nearly succeded there in her first Novice trial this season - IF...! But some weeks later she became 3rd at the Novice trial of Barton on Humber GC. AND some days later Ziva finished 3rd at the 2day Open AV Trial of the Clwyd RC. Open moorland at late summer - our gang loves to do grouse picking-up... ...at Bransdale estate. Grouse - what a special bird. It is an exhausting work for the dogs - but... ...but thanks to the mud holes they always can refresh. And if they get too muddy... ...well - a stream can solve the problem. Tired but clean (more or less). Late summer - what a lovely time of the year... ...with all the wonderful colours. Flowery gardens - our mum and mother in law loved them with all her heart. RIP Herti (5.10.1924 - 15.10.2019)
