27th October 2016 -> … click on the pictures …-> The harvest of the autumn - fresh at our Farmshop! Harvested fields - a paradise for pheasants! Fog belongs to the autumn - not only here at Whitethorn,... ...but also in Belgium where the ICC 2016 (Individual Challenge Cup) takes place. One of the judges is Daniel and he judges the best continental retrievers that have qualified in their countries. Review among each other: What do Sue and Les think about it? The judges Stef Bollen, Daniel Marx, Sue Hutton and Les McLean have decided: 1. Ivonne Brunold (A) with IntFtch Beechdale's Dusty Hazel, 2. Jose Ignazio Ariza Doiz (ESP) with Aya de Enanzo, 3. Janne Lahteenaro (SF) with FIFtch Starcreek Isaac. Congratulations!!!!! The sending needs getting used - but it seems that Ziva does understand it... While the winners are celebrated in Belgium, Malu takes care about our black gang. ...and Swift doesn't care, she enjoys the November sun! ...the dogs are fully motivated. Every now and again it is difficult for the handlers to concentrate... Even if it is quite cold... ...because of the beautiful scenery. 2 days later: Snow over night shows Farndale quite wintry. The dogs enjoy the empty beach! Gorgeous autumn feel at the coast near Redcar (Cleveland). No comment...! ...hit, found and retrieved! Nobody concentrates here on the scenery... Zoe (and Ziva) not only gain experience in Farndale but also at some partridge trainings in Wyton. First: John Halstead jun. (with Glenpatrick Romulus Of Killieford) and second: Daniel Marx (with Lockthorn Zoe). Congratulations! Zoe gains even more experience at the novice trial at Hy-Fly. Out of 14 dogs just two of them have been rewarded...
