Emblehope has become a centre of excellence for dog training.
On the 2nd of Octobre 2018 Daniel entered Ziva on the VERY FIRST 16 dog AV Novice Trial of the Kennel Club.
There have been no results but Ziva was awarded as "Best Marking Dog".
On the 28th of September 2019 it was Fake to show her skills at the 16 dog AV Novice Trial of the CSGS.
Daniel did run Flint on a 24 Open AV of the KC on 18./19. October 2024.
Concentration over two days...
...and at the end Flint was awarded with a COM.
On the 7th of November 2025 the Northumberland and Durham L.R.C. hold their penultimate Novice AV Retriever Trial and Nora run her very first trial!
Unusual for the time of year, it was a very warm day that the handlers and dogs enjoyed.
It was a very good trial judged well by Graham Slater, Robin Drysdale. Darren Thompson and Daryl Boarder.
Results: Second place at Noras first trial at Emblehope!! 1st = Simon Dixon & Rimrock Sportsman of Dawsonlee / 3rd = Charlotte Brown & Maplecrest Resolute.
THAT WAS IT! Emblehope and Burngrange is a too big financial burden for the Kennel Club and will be closed.
