Swift did win 16 Dog All Age Stake and...

Swift’s first trial was on Saturday, the 13th of October (13 can also be a lucky number!) at the 16 Dog All Age Stake of the Yorkshire Retriever Field Trial Society at Jervaulx, North Yorkshire.

… became 2nd at Two Day Open Qualifier and... 

The 31st October/1st November Swift got another run at the Open Qualifier of the Three Ridings Labrador Club at Wykeham, North Yorkshire.

  
 

On the 2nd day after the second run-off (!) the judges Mr. P. Cole, Mr. K. Helliwell and Mr. B. Shepherd decided to give the first price to John Halstead jun. with „Moss“ and the 2nd price to Daniel with  „Swift“. This almost would have been the qualification for the IGL-Championship!

… became 2nd at One Day Open Stake

Two weeks later another run: This time at the 12 dog Open Stake of the Yorkshire Golden Retriever Club at Warter Priory Estate, York.

  
 

At the end of the day the judges Mrs. R. Wise, Mr. P. Cole, Mr. J. Douglas und Mr. P. Hargrave just had 2 dogs left:

  
 

1st award for Ricky Ross Moloney with FTCH Tasco Monk of Mansengreen (Swifts litter brother!) and … yes, exactly, 2nd to Daniel Marx with Tasco Swift of Lockthorn!
