or THE reason to spend holidays at Whitethorn

"Betwixt and Between"? No, we wanted both!

This year we did afford this luxury: mid of may we drove with 3 cars, 5 persons and 9 dogs to Whitethorn for 2 weeks holidays and to close the time we entered a team at the "International Retrieverevent" at Highclere!

1. England,  683 pts 2. Holland, 655 pts 3. Scotland, 640 pts 4. Wales, 633 pts 5. France & Germany, 617 pts 7. Switzerland, 613 pts 8. Sweden 609, 9. Austria 582, 10. Denmark 565, 11. Ireland 554   Conclusion: weatherwise it was the worst bank holiday weekend since over 30 years!

And for next year we just wish - of course - Highclere Castle WITH sun!
