Bridestones Moor

In August

(German poem by Carl Busse, English translation)

Heather glows in lovely purple
Singing bees are far and wide
All the larks are cutting loose
Hiking songs sound through the country
And the shiniest piece of heaven
has been left in humans' eyes.

Dalby Forest is located more or less in front of our door. This big forest is used for recreation as well as timber production. There are several car parks, hiking trails and mountain bike trails, as well as a 'forest drive' throughout the forest.

One of the landmark in this Nature Reserve are the Bridestones - unique rocks out of sandstone with calcareous layers.
